Not allow WYSIWYG editor in short description and limit characters to 160 was created by teddirez
Regularly I find people abuse the short description area and it ruins the layout of the site, if it could just be a normal text box limited to 160 characters that would change things for the better dramatically.

And if I may add to this... also limit the number of characters used in the "Short Description" field.
