Register Button Module

There are many instances where I'd love to create an event in an article with my custom styling, and then place a module button for the registration.

Right now I make it work with just creating a link to the event signup page, but the link doesn't update when the event is full, or registration has closed.

Would that be something easy that could be implemented on a future release?

Just to add to this, the main reason I'd like this is so when an event becomes full, the text would change to the text that currently displays on the full EB module, stating the event is full... Is there a snip of code I can use to achieve this?
