Custom Fields for Category was created by Marco S.
I would really appreciate a feature that allows to define custom fields not just for certain events but for certain categories. Would be a lot more easy to handle multiple similar events (that require custom fields).

I agree, but feel that a better way could be if you could add the custom field from within the event. As you create a new event, you just select the correct custom field(s)
