I currently only allow Registered users to be able to use Membership Pro, and all users to my sites must register through CB and not the normal Joomla login. The CB registration is much more powerful with lots of options and greater security, so there are good reasons for this.
To force this to happen, I currently have to hide the the Membership Pro menu items, plans etc, from the public, and make them only available to Registered members. I would like to be able to make the plans public.
An option which would detect whether a user was signed in when they try the SIGN UP in Membership Pro button would be enough, telling a user to Login/Sign up first. This could be a tick box in Configuration, giving Admin the option to force public users to sign in before they could buy a subscription.
This would allow the use of CB registration and Login (or Jomsocial , EasySocial) for all users, who are then able to upgrade to a Plan.
