Is support for PHP7 coming in the future? I moved from 5.6 to 7.0 today and had to revert back because it broke the event booking category timeline layouts menu items. . . I'm not sure if it broke other things, i undid the the php version after users started reporting problems with these pages. . .
I'v already upgraded to joomla 3.7.0 today.

Actually, my local development computer is PHP7 and the extension supposed to support PHP7 from long time ago. What's exactly PHP version you were upgrading to?

In PHP 5.6.3, the menu items work.
in PHP 7.0.16, the menu items do not work - returns a 404 error.
in PHP 7.1.2, the menu items do not work for me - also returns a 404 error.
Broken menu items are of the type: event booking category timeline layouts
I am in Joomla 3.7
Event booking 2.14.3
Thanks for looking into this or pointing me in right directions. .

I experienced some issues with browser cache on a site where I am running EB and PHP 7.1, I was seeing a number of different issues, 500 Errors at the front end and PHP errors on the back end. Was a difficult issue to track down, switching back to the previous version everything worked. In my case it was with SiteGround, and Chrome.
I ended up moving a copy of the site to a local XAMPP install running PHP 7.1 and had no issues, once the cache issues was resolved I was also able to view the live site.
Good luck!

Congrats on Success. I'm on Siteground as host, and Chrome (though I've tested also with Edge).
I've upgraded to the most recent release put out late last week, and still the menu is broken for event booking category timeline layouts menu items. I have not yet tried other EB menu items to see if it's specific to that type.
I don't know how to apply the fix that Niall describes below, nor how to resolve cache issues. . . I'm still looking for solutions and trying ideas, but I'm not technical enough to do a local install

I updgraded today to 2.14.5 and still PHP 7.x doesn't work for me on the event booking category timeline layouts menu items
When I have time, I'll try to see if other layouts work to help narrow it down, or to see if its a different plugin that affects this menu item from working. I can work on ruling things out, but I don't know how to fix.
Thanks for all you do to troubleshoot.

Hi Mark
Events Booking is compatible with PHP 7. So if your server supports PHP7, go with that recommended PHP version
