Export/Import of Custom Fields to another site was created by neilz@personal-techie.com
Hi,
Just wondering if you could add this to the list of possible features:
I manage a few sites and find that I'm having to recreate the same custom field that I've created at another site. Would it be possible to add a feature where you can export (via XML I should think), custom fields to a file that then could be imported at another site?
It would save a lot of time for subscribers like me who do work on many different websites.
Thanks for any consideration.
Neil

Hello Neil
You actually can export and import data via PHPMyadmin. The table you need to import and export is #__eb_fields . You would only get difficulty if you don't know how to do that via PHPMyadmin

Great .. I figured it would be a table dump, but wanted to make sure first. That's not a problem for me, but having something that you can use from the dashboard would help those who are not as familiar with SQL commands and PHPMyAdmin ..

Those need this feature, usually are web developers, so import and export via PHPMyadmin should be an easy task.
Anyway, something for future development, I think. For now, there are still other more important features I want to focus working on first
