Sign up for one, two of "x" days or whole event

having been working with Event booking now, I have had an idea for a usefull feature.
I am offering workshops or events that can last a couple of days. People should have the option to sign up for one, two (or more) days or the whole time of the event, which, obviously, requires different prices.

Would be great to have an option like that.

This is also a feature I would like very much. We offer 8 week courses, running once class a week. Customers who sign up for the whole course get a bulk-booking price. However a couple of days before each class, we will advertise last-minute spaces available at a single class rate. We would like the teacher to be able to look at the class register on the day of the course and see the people who have booked the whole course, AND also see the people who are dropping in for this one class.

Currently I may have to do this by creating a new one-off event for each class. I will have to collect registration information for the course event and add to it the registrants for the class event. I will also have to set manually the maximum number of registrants on the drop-in class to be the maximum course number MINUS the existing course bookings.

Also it would be fantastic to allow people to join part-way through the course and book the rest of the classes in a one-off payment (pro-rated or discounted etc) rather than have to sign up individually for drop-ins when they become available.

Would be great if Event Booking functionality could handle this concept of a course with multiple classes within it, and allow definition of course start & end dates AND class start & end times, as opposed to the new recurring event feature which allows a single event to be copied to child events.
