Square Payment Gateway

Hi

Is there any chance of getting a payment gateway developed for squareup.com/au this is a fantastic gateway and integrates with XEo so could assist with that site of the world in regarfds to my question for Xero earlier.

Wanted in US as well! Many of our clients leaving PayPal for Square.

I just got my reader and I'm thinking of switching from PayPal to Square

[strike]Last time I checked they wont allow online payments only in person payments where you swipe the card[/strike]. I stand corrected, it look like they finally have it now. If you need something quick my customer uses square for on site payments and stripe for EB payments. It is basically the same as square but for online payments. Stripe does not seem to have an in person reader like square. Using both seems to work pretty well so far.

I thought there was an API for ecommerce. Will need to research and possible try it out.

There does appear to be one now, not too long ago they didn't. Stripe also has a third party reader where you can swipe a card now, but doesn't appear to have one directly from stripe yet. Looks like they are all catching up with each other.

I'm going to research stripe it look very good, except the 7 days deposit compared to Square which is 2 days.

The 7 days is only the first deposit when you account is being setup. I get all of my deposit within two days. I like it a lot. They also have an app where you run cards by typing in the card. I have also used that with great success. I dumped my other merchant accounts for stripe. I previously had first data and merchant plus. I was paying out a lot in monthly fees and PCI.
