Important feature request - updated docs

I just purchased Events Booking and started to set-up for an event.

I have been more than frustrated that the documentation available appears to have been last updated many updates ago. There are LOTS of fields and options on various screens that are not mentioned in the docs.

It's very hard to use a new extension if you don't even have basic documentation that matches the extension.

Although the basics are very intuitive, there is no way for us new (or likely old) users to know what the various fields (often not intuitively labeled) are used for or what the valid values can be.

My expectations may be a bit high because I've written docs for Joomla extensions before, but I think it is safe to say that the current docs are in MUCH need of updates. (And updating them would probably save you some support time - and would definitely save us users some frustration of trying to test and see how things are supposed to work.

Are there any current plans to update the docs?

I agree wholeheartedly with cpaschen - I wasted so much time configuring Events Booking because the documentation is out of date.

Tuan (in another thread or support ticket) said he's planning on doing that himself.

I do wish he would just 'farm-out' that task. I haven't seen many docs written by developers that are done well (or, for that matter, ever actually done).

But I guess we'll just have to wait for him.

Although I've been tempted to write some myself and sell them for $100 each
(I just spent several hours trying to create some custom reports from the data files in EB. VERY challenging process, but I finally figured out how the data is stored in the various tables. The provided export/report doesn't come anywhere near what is needed for anyone using this for real events.)

+1 vote from me -- I know I've run into problems with outdated docs several times.
