Register Usergroups automatically

Hi,

is it possible to add the functionality to register user of a usergroups autmatically when creating an event.
We are a flagfootball team and are using the event booking for our Training registration. So all players would be registrants for all trainings and woudl get the reminders and so on. If they cant participate the could use the cancel registration feature.

Maybe this would be an addon others would like to have as well.

This would be a useful feature.

In addition, I would find it very useful if events had an expiration. After the event expires, the assignment to a user group would revert back to the pre-registration status.

Can anyone else see this as beneficial?

we are willing to pay for this add on (including your mentioned feature) as as far as i know, this will never be a standard feature of the event booking component. What about you?
