Waiting list not working

Hi, I have enabled waiting list in the configuration, maxed out my capacity and i get the message that
This event does not exist or we are no longer accept registration for this event.

This is extremely urgent, how can I enable it?

Ok, my bad. I use the plugin to show the form inside the article so I havethe registration at my home page. I have added several custom fields.
