Daily, weekly and monthly view per category

It would be great to have a daily, weekly and monthly view per category.

Great idea - I have been looking for a method to display by week - an update in this area would be useful.

**worth mentioning to anyone else looking for this solution that it can be achieved via

(1) making categories for each day and adding events, them making the required menu item

or
(2) add url reference to menu item to achieve required view e.g. make menu item ref link to calendar weekly view .

My `hunt for a method' in the above post is regarding the required code changes to get this as a back-end option....or see it as an added feature in future.

Right now, still alitle busy with implementing SEF router for Joomla core in the extension. Hopefully I can have it finished in the next two days.

I believe this requirement can be done with some small code modification but I am quite busy now. Will look at it after two days if that's OK for you !
