manual add registrant from known users

I (as an administrator) would like to be able to manually add a registrant to an event by selecting from a dropdown list of all known (registered) users. This would be useful for recording offline enquiries i.e. phone calls etc. and enables a real record of places available. I know this can already be done, but you have to fill in details fresh - known users details are already "known" and it would make life easier.....

that would indeed be of added value for the administrator!

Some of our users are afraid of registering online and insist on registering by phone. This feature would indeed be an added value for me.

At the moment I have to allow multiple registration just that my secretary can add people who phoned in. This causes many problems with all the regular users via online registration. Therefore this would be the ideal solution for me.
