Different prices for different user groups

I made an enquiry to Tuan an few months back about having different prices for events , for user in set usergroups.

Usergroup 1 get 5% off
usergroup 2 get 10% off
usergroup 3 get 15% off

In Jooma 1.5, this had to be by a 3rd party membership software system.

SO different users sign up to different memberships/groups and when logged in they see there own price.

I had a 3rd party developer hack this in to work, but now may be easier to add in for Joomla 2.5 with its easy use of user groups??

Can this be done yet? I have a client that offers free classes to members and paid classes to non-members. Once they've registered and are identified as one or the other, then I need the price to reflect this.

So once the tic box 'Member' is checked, the event would then be free for registration.

Help! If this is already available, can someone talk me through it?
