Override layout of upcoming events module?

I'd like to customize the layout of the upcoming events module so that the thumbnail image is to the left of the event name, date, and description. It looks like I can't do that with CSS because there's a hard-coded clearfix div around the image. Is there a way to create an override for this module?

Of course. What layout you are using for the module? Please let me know and I will tell you the correct file to override

Or you can attach the screenshot of how the module is being displayed, I will know what layout you are using and give you the answer
