Cart Checkout: registrate for account as well as book as guest

Hello,
when a customer is in the cart to checkout they have to fill name, address etc in the form.
Depending on the configuration the Registration Settings, there are two options:
If "User registration integration" is set to Yes, the fields username and password are mandatory. The customer is forced to create an account.
If set to No, no possibility for user registration is given.
I'd much prefer to offer both options: the fields username and password shown but NOT mandatory, so that a custumer can registrate for an account as well as book an event as a guest.
How can I realize this?

Unfortunately, it is not possible. If you enable user registration integration, username and password will be required. It could not be optional

It would really be great to have an option to register to an event as a guest without creating a joomla user account, is there anyway to achieve this?

How about go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set User Registration Integration config option to No

With that setup, users won't need to register for an account while registering for your events anymore
