I’m happy to announce the release of
Events Booking version 5.7.0! This release contains below improvements/changes in this release:
1. Added Name Badges feature
This feature allow admin to generate name badges for registrants of his event. The feature can be turned on/off for individual event. See

2. Converted All Plugins To Modern Services Provider Structure
All plugins in Events Booking (there are many) are converted to modern services provider structure in this release. This is to make sure the extension follow Joomla best practices and continue working well with future releases of Joomla.
3. Improve Registrants Export
If you are using group registration, some data are collected for group billing, not group members and when you export group members, data for these fields are empty in previous release. In this release, export are improved so that data from group billing records will be used to show on Group members records (if data for these fields are collected for billing but not for group members)
4. Other Small Bugs Fixes and Improvements
- Added config option to allow using Joomla content plugins in email
- Allow setup registration form messages (the messages displayed at the top of individual and group registration form) at category level. If you do that, all events from the category will use that same registration form message unless the messages are overridden inside the event.
- Prevent double click (causes double/multiple emails) when sending mass mail
- Allow turn on/off countdown for each event
- Allow control the ordering of countries in country field (by Name or Ordering)
- Fixed bugs in Map and Search module in some special conditions
5. Support New Payment Gateway
Added
EB Worldline Hosted Checkout payment plugin to allow using
Worldline Global
and
ANZ Worldline
payment gateways to receive payment in Events Booking.
