[19-May-2025] Events Booking version 5.0.7 releases

Dear customers !

Today, I am happy to announce the new version 5.0.7 of Events Booking. This is a maintenance release. On this version, we focus converting some system plugins in the extensions to Joomla Scheduled Tasks. During the update process, the system will uninstall these converted plugins, and create necessary scheduled tasks automatically to replace these plugins, so you just need to update and do not have to do anything. Expect some performance improvements with these changes

Unfortunately the problem with the Field Administration tab is still present after the 5.0.7 update. I have confirmed that all components, modules, and plugins are now 5.0.7.
Running Joomla 5.3.0, php 8.4.2, mysql 8.0.28. Testing with both Firefox and Safari.

For any existing events that were created prior to 5.0.6, the Field Admin tab is present.
For any events created with 5.0.6 or 5.0.7, no Field Admin tab. I have tried creating a new event from scratch and using the save as copy method from an older event. If I create a new event, the tab is never present from the start. If I use the save as copy method, I can see the tab on the old event, but it goes away as soon as the copy is saved.

That sounds strange. Please submit a support ticket sending us super user account of your site so that we can check it directly on your site for you

is there any option similar to this im event booking, that counter starts when customer wants tickets? See video attached.

I am getting an error trying to update from 4.5.1 to 5.0.7 that the update package is not found. I get the following - Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_dm...ckage&document_id=56 and when I click on that site, I get an invalid download ID error

It could be because you forgot to configure Download ID or your subscription for Events Booking was expired. Could you please submit support ticket sending me super account of your site so that I can check it quickly and tell you the reason?
