Events Booking version 3.10.5 released

Dear customers

Today, I am happy to announce new version of Events Booking 3.10.5 with the following nice improvements and one small bug fix:

1. Added Position parameter to custom field:

Sometime, you might want to display a custom field below Payment Information section (especially for custom fee fields) on registration form. In that case, just set Position parameter to Below Payment Information. By default, it will be displayed above Payment Information section.

2. Added Show Register Buttons config option

Sometime, you might want to hide register buttons on events list to force users to see event details before registering for the event. If so, just set Show Register Buttons config option to No

3. Added Use Custom Fields From Parent Event config option

If you use recurring events or additional dates to create children events and want that all of these events use same custom fields on registration form, you might wan to set this config option to Yes. When you do that, all children events will use custom fields assigned to it's parent event, so you just need to assign custom fields to parent event instead of to all children events, easier for management

4. Added Send Event Attachments config option

By default, when you add attachments to event, it will be sent to registrant email when they register for your event. If you want to stop that, you can set the config option to No

5. Support Time For Valid From Date and Valid To Date of coupon and discount bundle

6. Added new parameter to Categories menu option

When you use Categories (or Categories Events) menu option, all categories will be displayed by default. We now added a new parameter to the menu to allow you to select the categories you want and only these selected categories will be displayed.

7.Bugs fixes:

- Prevent new event to use same alias with existing event
- Fix edit event layout broken (backend) for recurring parent event

Please update your site to latest version of Events Booking to use these improvements and bugs fixes. Thanks for continue using our product and support our development

We also want to take this chance to inform that in next release, we will raise Joomla and PHP requirement for the extension. Next version will only works for Joomla 3.9.0+ and PHP version 5.6.0+. This will allows us to use latest Joomla API and PHP features to build better software. If you still use old Joomla or PHP version, please be prepared to update

Getting this error on new event save -> Error
Unknown column 'created_language' in 'field list'

FYI, this is fixed by doing a Fix Database

I have this error on saving events, and on Save as Copy of events. Just updated to the 3.10.5 version this am.

Using Joomla's Fix Database function DID NOT correct this error for me.
Running Akeeba DB optimizer didn't correct either.
Using Joomla 3.9.14

Problem solved, as mentioned above.
Access to Events Booking, then Tools -> Fix Database Schema.

It seems that event aliases aren't auto-generated anymore.

I'm adding a recurring event and I get an error: There is an event with alias already in the system

Thanks Dan. We added some code to validate to make sure alias is not duplicated. I will check that issue and in case it's valid, I will fix it and update the package

I can confirm that, the same problem appears on my site as well since the update. The aliases are not generated in frontend as well as in backend.

Could you please access to My Downloads menu item, download latest package, upgrade it to your site, then check it again to see if it solves the issue?
