I was finally able to get around to modifying the mod_eb_registrants panel.
Here's what my version looks like:
Modifications / features added:
add shortcut buttons for All Registrants / Dashboard / Events
add icon to indicate registrant's status (eg: paid, not paid, waiting list, cancelled)
group-together Group registrations
I've created a pull -request on the Git repository, so you can see my code changes there.
