Events Booking version 3.8.3 released

Dear customers

Continue the effort of making Events Booking more flexible, Today, I am happy to announce new version of Events Booking 3.8.3 with some small improvements and bugs fixes:

1. Improve frontend event submission form (simple layout)

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Submit Event Form Fields tab, you can choose to show/hide almost any fields on submit event form. So if you want to hide any fields, no need for modifying code like in older versions anymore



2. Improve Google Structured data support

In case you don't know what's Google Structured Data, please quick read about it at developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/event

In this version of Events Booking, we made following improvements to this feature:

- Move this feature to a separate plugin Events Booking - Google Structured Data, decouple it from the HTML markup for Events List and events details page, make the code of the layouts simpler.
- Adding more data for each event (short description, image, availability) so that Google understands your events data better

If you want to use this feature, after updating to new version, please go to Extensions -> Plugins, find and publish the plugin Events Booking - Google Structured Data

3. Fix some small bugs in version 3.8.2

- Wrong recurring event validation
- Could not enter multiple discount amounts for Members Discount (because I was using number input field type)

Please update your site to this latest version of Events Booking to use these improvements and have these minor bugs fixed. Thanks for continue using our products and support our development. We will continue working hard to improve the extension, make it better from time to time
