Events Booking version 3.8.1 released was created by Tuan Pham Ngoc
Dear customers
Today, I am happy to announce new version of Events Booking 3.8.1 with the following nice improvements:
b]1. Improve Upcoming events module:[/b]
- We added a new parameter to the module called Display Type with the following options: Upcoming events, past events and All. So you can now use the module to display any kind of events (upcoming, past or all events). It's not limit to only upcoming events like before
2. Support filtering registrants base on custom fields value
- If you have custom fields type Checkboxes, Radio, Select..., you would want to filter for registration records base on value of these fields. If so, you can edit the custom field, set Filterable parameter to Yes. Now, when you access to Registrants Management screen, you will be able to filter registrants base on these custom fields option
3. Support multilingual for frontend event submission form
- If you enable frontend event submission / frontend events management on a multilingual website, your users can now also translating the events which they submit/manage to different languages use on your site (before, it only possible to translate from administrator area)
4. Support managing event custom fields from administrator area
In older version of Events Booking, if you want to add/edit event custom fields, you will need to download the file components/com_eventbooking/fields.xml, modify it, then upload it back to server. From now on, you can just go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Event Custom Fields tab to edit existing fields or add new fields if you want
5.Support logging more emails type
You can now configure Events Booking to log some more email types below:
- Registration approved emails
- Registration cancel emails
- New event notification emails
- Deposit payment reminder emails
6.Allow translating payment reminder email messages
This could be useful if you are using deposit payment feature in Events Booking on a multilingual website
Please update your site to this latest version of the extension to use these nice improvements.
Thanks for continue using our products and support our development. We will continue working hard to improve the product, make it better from time to time
Regards,
Tuan

Hi
Yes. If I remember correctly, I added a new field filterable to #__eb_fields table. However, it's added automatically by the system during update process, so not sure why you want to know about it?

I have a custom component working with your tables as well. So that's why I was curious about the changes.
Thanks!

Since updating to 3.8.1 the thumbnails shown via the upcoming events module have been displayed in a larger size than before and with a consequent reduction in definition.

Hi Tuan
The custom code worked fine for 3 days. Now however the first thumbnail in the upcoming events list shows as smaller than expected and from the other thumbnails. I did not change anything since adding your custom css code.
