Events Booking 3.6.1 released

Dear customers

Today, I am happy to release new version of Events Booking, version 3.6.1 with some improvements and bugs fixes:

1. Support quick add multiple into shopping cart

- If you have shopping cart enabled and use table layout for displaying events, you can set Enable add multiple events to cart config option to Yes. By doing that, next to each event, there will be a checkbox displayed. You can check on these checkbox to add multiple events you want to add to cart and process checkout (speed up the registration process)



2. More control to files which users can upload from frontend
- Added Upload max file size config option to allow control maximum file sixe which you want to allow users to upload when they register for events in frontend of your site
- Added Image max file size, Image max width, Image max height to allow control maximum file size, maximum width and maximum height of images which users can upload while submitting events from frontend

3. Remove usage of default Google Map API Key

Google changes their policy and now, you should have own Google Map API key for each installation of Events Booking. Recently, customers figured out that if you don't give Google Map API key, everything is working as expected. For that reason, I decided to remove the Default Google map API Key in Events Booking. As of right now, if you want, you can register for a key for your site. If not, it will still work well

4. Some other small fixes + improvements
- Added css class to allow styling full events in mini calendar
- Fix javascript error on shopping cart mode on mobile
- Fix wrong payment link generated by Events Booking - Payment Reminder plugin (when you enable deposit payment)
- Fix Get direction link on google map popup
- Fix date picker on registrants management screen not show month navigation

Getting the attached error when trying to update.

Hi Michael

That mean the Download ID you are using on the site was used for a different site before already (can be your dev site). Access to Download IDs menu item on our website, create a new Download ID, enter that new Download ID into Download ID config option of Events Booking, then try again, it should work fine

(Each Download ID can only be used for one site only)

Thank you. Upon looking I found the Download ID field was blank. I added the current ID and all is well.

Hi Tuan, interesting update.

What was this cart javascript error?

I currently have 2 issues with the cart...
1) If my google map module is still loading, and a user clicks on register, they get an unstyled shopping cart, which doesn't work correctly.
2) I get a few customers who have an issue when they try to complete registration (cart enabled) they are just taken back to a blank form and they need to start again.

1. Maybe there is some javascript conflict. It should be opened on popup instead of on one unstyle cart. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to the page so that we can check it

2. Honestly, I don't have clue about it. If you can try to re-procedure the issue yourself and tell me what I need to do to see it, I will be happy to check

Google changes their policy and now, you should have own Google Map API key

With the recent commercialisation of Google Maps , in my opinion OS Solutions should look to move away from Google and provide an alternative mapping service like OpenStreetMap.

Many other software providers have already made the switch and OS Solutions should investigate this further.

Heard good things about OpenStreetMap. We will look at it as an alternative option

I generated a new Download ID and pasted it in, but i receive the same error stil?

Exactly what's the error you are having? You could not update to latest version from administrator area of your site?

Could you please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can check it?
