Membership Pro subscriptions as products?

Can Membership Pro subscriptions be integrated into checkout?

This was something I wanted, but ................. the correct solution is to purchase Payment Form extension.
It can sell vouchers/coupons for:
- Membership Pro
- eshop
- event booking

among lots of other uses.

I have just spent quite a bit of time debugging and enhancing this extension with Tuan.

I am not sure if the improved version is ready for Download yet. Over to Tuan.

As I already answered you via ticket. Currently, there is feature to integrate Membership Pro into EShop checkout.

The EShop documentation only mentions the Membership Pro - Eshop Plugin, but that doesn’t seem like the right one.

I can see two plugins:

• Membership Pro - Eshop Plugin
  This plugin is used to assign subscribers to Eshop customer groups when they subscribe to a Subscription Plan in Membership Pro
• EShop - Membership Pro Plans plugin
  This plugin is used to add customers as subscriber of plans when they purchase products.

So, it looks like I have to create a product for each plan, but do I also import all the members as customers? Will their Membership Pro details be kept in sync or will there be two sets of data?

I suppose I will need to change the Joining up link from Membership Pro to a category view of EShop plan products?

I would like to make this as seamless as possible, but I’m only a volunteer in a community organisation which is why I’m trying to get this done during the holidays. This is looking like a lot of work; it’s a pity there’s no way to import the plans from Membership Pro.

First of all, you can not integrate Membership Pro Plans into EShop Checkout.

EShop - Membership Pro Plans plugin allow to integrate EShop and Membership: So when customer purchase a product in EShop, if that product is map with a plan in Membership Pro, then the customer will be added as an subscriber of that plan in Membership Pro.

There is no integration of plans in Membership Pro into Checkout in EShop.

This reply is a bit confusing. You say you can’t but that EShop - Membership Pro Plans does allow it?

I have experimented with using this plugin and it does work, but with Offline Payment (set to Pending), the Membership Pro Plans are active immediately. Is there no way to verify the payment first?

Also, there’s no way to prevent someone from buying the same subscription multiple times.

The issue with offline payment should be sorted now. Please download latest package of EShop, update it to your site and the issue will be sorted

Currently, we do not have a way to prevent users to purchase product via EShop and being subscribed for plan multiple time. It is quite hard, so we will try to find a solution, but it will take time
