eshop_products.main_category_id question was created by depy
Hello there,
In version 4.0.2 there is a field in the eshop_products table called main_category_id question. What is the purpose of this field since there is then main_category in the productcategories that shows which is the main category of a product ..? Did some test changing values in the database but there is not any change in the product on eshop

Hello Depy,
Thank you for submitting the question here. Actually, that field is added to the product table is only for technical purpose. It will help some queries run faster and easier in some case.
Sincerely, Giang
