Checkout Problems after Upgrade to Joomla 4.4.0 (SOLVED) was created by Remedium Pro
After update of Joomla to Version 4.4.0 and Eshop to 3.8.0. following error occurs after checkout / payment:
Joomla\CMS\Mail\MailerFactory::createMailer(): Return value must be of type Joomla\CMS\Mail\MailerInterface, Joomla\CMS\Mail\Mail returned
This problem is caused by another plugin: please see: github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/42164
I've disabled the plugin "AcyMailing - Override Joomla emails" and now everything works fine again!
