Hi there
We're redeveloping our website on PHP 8 & Joomla 4.
Is there a recognised and documented process to migrate the EShop to the new website?

We're going to have to export the data from the old site and import it into the new one.
Do you have a documented process for this?

Busy?
I've been waiting 2 days for an answer to what I think is a simple question.

Thanks.
I followed the instructions and got this error:
prnt.sc/eHpymmJM3NdT
I then went in to the current website's PHPMyAdmin and used the advanced export option to add DROP TABLE command and it imported the data fine.
So pleased this works easily.

Hello Michael,
The reason because you didn't add the option to drop tables if existed when export the data from old site.
Sincerely, Giang
