Hide filter by Cateogories section & change check box colour

Hi there, I am using the Eshop filter, how can I hide/disable the filter by Categories section?

Also how to change the checkbox background colour?

1. The Categories section is required by the EShop Products Filter module, there is no option to hide / disable it.

2. To change the style of checkbox background, you need to add some custom CSS style I think.

I am sorry but this is impossible. As I said, categories section is required and it can not be hidden from there.
