Taking a Deposit was created by What No Website
Is it possible to take a deposit on an order but per product.

For example...

Product 01:
Price: 100€
Deposit: 25€

Product 02:
Price: 150€
Deposit: 50€

So if someone order product 1 they pay a deposit of just 25€ but if they order product 2 the deposit is 50€ and if they order both products then the deposit is 75€.

Is this possible...?

Appreciated.

We'd like to be able to take either a fixed amount (per product) or maybe a percantage.

For us a fixed amount is OK per product but other users may well want to be able to take a percentage.

A good option perhaps and maybe easier to implement...

Have a payment plugin (Pay deposit by card [Stripe]) and then simply take the cost price from the total...?

Although the cost for one item will be different from another variation of the same item sometimes. It's an idea though...

An update to this...

What I think would be needed would simply be a cost price field next to the variants. So, for example, if someone added a show size the cost price might possibly increase based on shoe size.

In my case, I use it for excursions and the cost price changes based on which variant of an excursion is selected.

Hello Giang,

some years ago you specially created this for me.
I haven't used and updated the e-shop for a while, because my customer didn't want it.
But now I am back, and I was wondering: is this implemented in the latest version of E-shop?
