Speed of Page Reroute to PayPal was created by Erik Novoa
It seems that it takes about 7 seconds to reroute from EShop to PayPal. Is there a way to make this faster?

Thanks,
Erik

Hello Erik,

It takes 5 seconds now. If you want to change it, then it requires to modify to EShop.

Sincerely, Giang

Thank you for your response. Is there a reason for a 5 second delay? How could the time be reduced to 1 second? I have had customers who get confused and think that the delay is hanging their system (and they have slow computers).

Thanks,
Erik

Dear Erik,

I need to wait some seconds to generate the hidden form before being able to submit it to PayPal.

Thank you for that information.
Is there a way to create in indication (text or model box) to the customer that there will be a 5 second delay as the payment reroutes to PayPal. Ex: "Please wait approx. 5 sec. while we reroute you to PayPal for final payment"

That might help with customer expectation. What do you think?

Dear Erik,

There is already a message showed there. If you want to change it, please go to EShop -> System -> Translation to filter by that message and change it as the way that you want.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Which translation string should I modify?

Thanks,
