SKU not optional

I can see the SKU its something we have to use, how we could make it not required we know we can not disappear on the product but while we are creating the product is required, please help, also why it takes very long to hear answers, that is business we are running, Thanks

I am sorry but SKU is required field of each product. We can not make it as optional.

Would it be ok to make the SKU not required that would make your application widely used because not everything required an SKU, so make it an optional people can turn it on and off, Thanks
