New Email message for status

How do we add a new email template into Eshop > System > Messages

We have made a custom order status called "Ready for Pick-up" for our local customers. We need an email template which has the correct info in it sent to those customers when we change the order status to "ready for pick-up".
How do we do this? I see no "new" button on the system > messages screen...

I am sorry but there is no option to create new messages and use them for additional purposes now.
