Problem in getting notification emails & downloads

Hi,

Everything was working in test mode, both me, the store was receiving a notification of order and the client was receiving the notification of payment and a link was provided within the notification to download the product. However, since going live, things seem to have stopped working this way.

Two things are happening:

1. the store (my client) is not getting notified or orders (I tried also adding a secondary email address and neither are receiving mail). However, If I change the email to my email address: lillian@lillianfidler.com I do get notifications. Very strange. I tried to of my clients emails and neither are receiving messages.

2. I did a live test and put my email in as the store owner, I'm receiving the email that says 'you've received an order'.
As the customer, I also received an email that says: Thank you for your interest in The Real Sonia Barrett products. Your order has been received and will be processed once payment has been confirmed. I also got a receipt for my purchase from paypal, but I did not receive another email confirming the order and with a download link.

I did another test, above I check out as a guest. I also tried to purchase a product by checking out as a registered user. This time as the customer I didn't receive any notification, but I did get a notification as the store that an order was placed

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hello Lillian,

I think the reason because you disable the PayPal IPN in your live PayPal account. Please go to PayPal, then login and enable PayPal IPN from there.
