Hi,

is there a possibility that a buyer automatically gets a customer number? I've considered changing the "Fax" field, but the problem is that the customer might change this field in his profile. Is there any other way?

Every customer who buys a product should get a customer number, so that the customer identified by name AND by number.

So seem you create a custom field under Sales -> Fields for the customer number and it works. What do you want more with it?
