Webpages Showing Eshop Variables - Not Item names was created by Rob
I've got a corrupt install of Joomla, heavily infected by a couple of virus and malware.
Site will not update automatically.
I've uploaded a replacement version of the same install version (3.3.6) and have been slowly matching the additional content the plugins need
Somewhere in the upgrade, the Eshop portion of our site is showing variables as placeholders instead of the actual name of the item.
ie: all the buttons show ESHOP_ADD_TO_CART
Ie: the Shopping Cart Widget at the top of the side bar has a heading of E_SHOP_SHOPPING_CART, then below that shows 0 ESHOP_ITEMS - $0.00
I've not touched the database at all. All I've done is attempt to automatically update the Joomla software and now have manually replaced all folders and files with the new ones, moving any plugin data from their respective folders to the new ones.
I've even undone everything I've done to see if I had missed something
I have NO idea where to begin looking to resolve this.
It's as if a settings file or definition file has been lost or something.
I've added a screenshot

AH HA!
I tracked it down.
Missing .ini files in the language folder.
This resource helped me track it down: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/multilingual/...slate-language-items
(I'm a wordpress developer. I've never worked with Joomla before)

Hello Rob,
That's correct. It's nice that you figured it out and resolved by yourself.
By the way, have you purchased EShop yet? I don't see any EShop order from your account.
Sincerely, Giang
