I was engaged to do a revamp of site for my client. His site allows for people to purchase ebooks. Before me, his site was using another extension to handle online purchases of those ebooks.
I bought and am using eshop in his revamped site to handle online purchases of those ebooks now. But because the previous purchases were done using another extension, I had to manually create the relevant details of those past transactions into the eshop database so that his clients can still go to his site, log on and download those ebooks. But as eshop generates a random code every time a purchase is made, I am unable to generate that random code as I have no idea how it is done. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Or can I just key in any code into that transaction table?
Would really appreciate any help with this as I'm stuck at this for a whole day. Thanks in advance for any help.
