Geo Zone for Cities or Postal Codes

Hello,
I think I'm going crazy :pinch: still not able to figure out how to do this, or it seems the Eshop is not ready for these kind of setup. I really need to know as my deadline for this shop is only 2 days away.

The geo zone is seems only for Countries and states/provinces




But we have cities inside the state/province that also needs to be in the Geo Zone.
if you have small gift shop, and you would like to do a promotion, that inside the city there will be free delivery. but outside the city there will be fixed shipping cost.

I have setup the fixed cost, as it will go as: Country - State.

But the issue is I'm not sure how to setup the free delivery, as I'm not sure how to enter the cities. it can not be entered as province.

If I enter the cities in the geo zones, it needs go under the counties. that mean you will have in the same lists the states and the cities which will make people get confused, and say what is the hell.
Example:
Canada has 13 provinces.
Alberta is a provinces and has lots of cities.
so the list is here and it will shows states and cities are mixed up.

Alberta
Ontario
Calgary
Manitoba
.... etc
you will notice Calgary is a city. but people will get very confused and this is wrong.


I'm really not sure what is the solution for that.

most of the eCommerce site, it seems have a module or plugin in for the local delivery by postal code/zip code list.
the user must enter a zip code to know if he in the free delivery area.

Also I did some search and I found some components out there already have something in place for this situation. but I'm not sure about Eshop. I hope you guys help us on this.

All resolved by some modifications to EShop Free Shipping now.

Can we connect using our zip codes? I am sure with so many users the zip codes will be all different. It is very unlikely that any of them will match. What do you think about such an approach? I believe it may work successfully. And the information can be checked here PostcodeFinder.net . A zipcode could play a role similar to some password allowing you into the system. Or do you think this idea will not work properly?

EShop also has Postcode Shipping plugin. Can you please try if it meet your requirement or not?
