Bought the component some more than a year ago and now receiving updates and support is expired. Therefor bought the component again. However, cannot update directly from the site. Must I first remove the component from the site and install it again or what can I do? Don't want to loose my current defined items and history.
Thanks,
Edward

You simply install the EShop to update it on your site. Please read about how to update EShop here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/getting-start...llation#update-eshop
Hope that it is useful.
Sincerely, Giang

Noticed when I did this, I've got an error about a missing xml-file (didn't wrote it down in full) and the component was installed successfull. I see the correct version when going to the component, but on the dashboard now the icon with the version is missing.

Go to Configuration, there is an option about that, set to YES to show version. Is not a problem, is a new function from 1.4.3Edward wrote: I see the correct version when going to the component, but on the dashboard now the icon with the version is missing.
