Search module looks really weird with my template

What do I do? I am upgrading a website. I purchased the clients template first, and then later found eshop and purchased it. However I have discovered that Eshop doesn't really like my template and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix the issues as I cannot afford to buy another template, and I cant afford to buy another shopping component.

I have attached two samples of the top bar. In the standard template, the search bar is nice and clean, however when I put the Eshop search bar in, it becomes very ugly. Furthermore, if I search for a product, the search results are in white.
