Any other way to change order of products listing?

Seems like the only way to change the order of the products listing within categories is to change the numbers in the "order" column. This is very slow and tedious. Is there another way? MY client would actually like to have the last ones listed first and the oldest ones listed last. Seems like this should be easy. Thanks in advance

1. That is the only way to change orders of item.
2. EShop has sorting option (can be found under EShop->System->Configuration->Sorting tab), you can choose default sorting there.
