Remove/Edit Fields in "Account & Billing Details"

Hi,
Loving eShop, ease of use and standard look is great - Keep up the good work!!

One thing I'd like to do though (my client is insisting!) is change and remove some of the fields on the "Account & Billing Details" form.

So I'd like to...

1. Remove the "Fax" field completely

2. Change "Your Address" to just "Address"

3. Remove "Customer Group" field and the dropdown

4. Change "Company" label to say "School Name"

5. Remove "Company ID" field completely

6. Change "Region/State" label to say "County"

I would really really appreciate some help on this as I'm a bit stuck and my client is getting impatient :blush:

I have the exact same problem and would like to remove and edit some fields but it seems blocked.

Also i tried to add one field but it doesn't show in the form, what is the point of the Fields section if I can't change, remove or add them?

Sorry just found out that adding a field works.
A small thing is that if you add a field to the shipping address only and tick the box shipping address same as billing address it will skip your field even if you set it as required.
Removing or editing the postcode, country and zone doesn't work though, I'm setting up a shop for a local area so I don't need them.

1. That is no problem. You should read the Fields documentation here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/sales/fields.html

2. If the field is set as only Shipping Address, then it can not appear in the Billing Address so of course, it skip the field in Billing Address.

3. The postcode, country, zone are core and required fields. You can not delete them.

I really don't need some of these fields.
Do I have to expect any errors of EShop functionality if I however delete them in file
administrator/components/com_eshop/views/customer/tmpl/default.php

These fields appear in many places: register form, guest form, billing address, shipping address, customer address page. If you would like to modify the source code to remove them, please be carefully.
