sorry if i continue, maybe the most easy solution is modify default.php in /administrator/components/com_eshop/views/product/tmpl and remove the check about empty value on the name (and also about code field). in this way i can able joomla english language for content and just disable language module to switch the language

Hello Andrea,
I am a bit confused about the problems that you have here. In the order to have some built-in data (messages, length name, weight name, etc) in all languages, you should create Content languages for all languages first (Go to Languages management in Joomla, go to Content and add Italian please).
Then install EShop again, you will have all messages in both of languages.
Sincerely, Giang

sorry, i don't think the mandatory field is the right way because all views about cayegories, products, options... need mandatory field. so i think maybe the right way is disable the english joomla language but in this case there's an issue about messages

Hi again Andrea,
You are missing the Italian message because you didn't install Italian content language in Joomla. Can you please submit a ticket and send me the back-end login account to your site so I can go there to help you?
Sincerely, Giang

hi, my customer asked me again to deactivate english language, this is what i did:
1. web site with eshop sample data (english)
2. activated joomla language plugins and module
2. installed italian language (for backend, frontend and site content)
3. if i deactive english content i see lists of categories, products, messages.... but if i click one of them to modify i see jus one tab (no flag about language) and items without information, i mean blank fields
viceversa i have to see italian contents, right?
if i insert a new product and save i don't see content but just blank fields
tx
