Hello
Another BIG thumb up for what's proposed in this thread.
Having good search filter is a must for any more serious shop system.
I purchased eshop today, after I used virtuemart and battled with Mijoshop (Opencart)
Virtuemart is non stop upgrading something, and often upgrades breaks many things, and Mijoshop doesn't have good customer support, and it's almost impossible to customize template, so I hope that I will have better luck with EShop.
From my point of view, only thing which is currently missing is product filter search module, with functions proposed by Andrea Baldoni

Hello Krx,
Yes, I agree. I know the importance of search filter in a shop system. I will try to sort the time to work on it. I had plan to work on it but I was too busy. I will try to make it ready soon.
Sincerely, Giang

hi, i see that also in last version there aren't options and attributes search filters, do you have plan to develop this?
last version has many nice feautures but the option and attribute filter is a fundamental feature.
without this filters eshop is not suitable for an e-commerce with many products and it's really a shame.
to have a guide for the develop you can see also you competitor joomshopping. it has this feature

tx, best regards

Hello

Giang, I'm also PHP programer, and I'm also support person for my clients.
As programer, I can understand that delays are inevitable, but as customer support person I never give promises which I cannot fulfill.

Just take a look at your replies:

7 months 1 week ago - Currently, we have still not an advanced search like this. We had a plan to make it in the near future.
7 months 1 week ago - I agree. I will sort the time to develop it soon.
7 months 1 week ago - If you can submit some advices regarding functions here, that is great. It will be useful for me when working on this feature.
7 months 1 week ago - I will sort the time to develop the component like this. Hope that it will not be too long to finish.
6 months 3 weeks ago - I will try to sort the time to work on it soon.
6 months 2 weeks ago - I will try to make it ready soon.
1 day 3 hours ago - Please wait for more few days. The next version is coming soon with some more great features.
And finally last one:
2 hours 5 minutes ago - I hope that you can understand for the delay in sometimes because I am always rather busy for supporting the customers too.

Now you are telling Andrea that you have other work to do and that you need to support other clients.

So I'm posting this friendly advice:
If you are very busy or you are not 100% certain that you can do it, do not give promise(s) at all.
From customer's perspective, "soon" is something between a week or month, tops.
7 months passed since you told Andrea your first "soon", and that's pretty long time.

Best Regards

Hello Krx,
All of the things that you said are correct. And thank you so much for your advice and I agree with that. I have been just trying to give the best extensions and supports for my customers.
For the next time, I will not promise for un-sure things. Once I promise, I will try to do it as what I promised before.
Sincerely, Giang
