Permission problem was created by Michał
Hi There!
I have a problem involving user permissions for eShop.
I want to configure a PUBLISHER to be able to add products via admin panel.
Problem is, in the permission tab there is no record "Access to administrator panel" like in other components.
I work on Joomla 3.0
Thanks in advance for help

Hello MIchal,
Thank you for purchasing our EShop e-commerce extension. Regarding your question, I think Joomla does not allow PUBLISHER to access to admin panel. You should give permissions to other user groups (as Administrator or Manager).
Then in Permission configuration of EShop, you can assign permission to access to different views of EShop to these user groups easily. Hope that this helps.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any more questions.
Sincerely, Giang

Thanks for fast respond Giang!
Unfortunately, it is not PUBLISHER problem. After I swotched user to "Administrator" status - it did not change anything.
To be honest, I can only access eShop from SuperUser panel which is not acceptable in situation where I want to allow to add products for other users.

Hi again Michal,
You just need to login ad Super Admin to the back-end side, then go to Permission part to edit permission of other user groups in EShop.
Sincerely, Giang

Dear Giang
In the Permission section of com_eshop there is no "Access Administration Interface" position.

Hello Michal,
"Access Administration Interface" is from Joomla, not in EShop. EShop only has permissions to access to different parts of its own. Does this make sense?

All I know is that when I log into different user (admin panel)- manager/administrator/special etc. I dont see "eshop" in components.
In fact, all other components/modules/plugins are visible and I can also disable this "visibility" in permission section - unlike eshop.
This is problem for me, because as a designer - I have full access to the site. But I want to give access to a person I made website for. This person should have only access to eshop and articles - however, I can't give him permissions for eshop so I see only Articles in his panel..

Hi again Michael,
Any different users that log-in to back-end side, you should see EShop under the Components.
If not, then it is an outstanding issue. Do you use any other extensions for back-end side as Admin Power or others?
Please let me know.
Sincerely, Giang

Hello-
I was also wondering about this same permissions issue. I would really like to block back-end access to everything but EShop for everyone but Super Admins. Has this topic been resolved? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Tess,
EShop allows you to setting permission access to different parts of EShop. Please go to System->Global Configuration->com_eshop to set permission of EShop.
