text option question

Hi Guys

I was looking for a way to customize my items in eshop - I found and tested the text and textarea in the options.

When I tested it in a product, the box displayed and the price showed as I entered it for the option ($6.95) - however the rate was charged by the letter - I'm trying to have the option charged by the field itself, so $6.95 in total for the field.

Is that something that can be changed?

Thank you for submitting the ticket here. Currently, the text option in EShop supports additional price per entered character.

Seem what you want is: As long as customer enter the text, then they must pay a fixed additonal price instead of pricing per character, right?

yes - exactly - if that's possible. I'm using a workaround by increasing the price to include it which works fine as well. Thanks for checking!

That's no problem. By default, EShop does not support that. However, if you want to have that feature, I can check to find a custom solution for you. You can submit a new ticket to EShop category so we can discuss more.
