No messages in E-shop after migration from J4 to J5 was created by Annett Ramsnæs
I migrated from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5, and everything looked fine at first glance, but all messages, exept "Admin Failure Notification Email' is missing. As fare as I can see, this is only thing not right. In a local xampp back up, I tried to install Eshop 4.0.0 again, but this doesn't add the messages. They are still missing. I tried to uninstall Eshop, and install E-shop again, but then all my customer data disappeared. This is on a local backup - is there anything I can do, to get this up and going again, on my online site? Can I add the messages manually? which folder are they located in, I cant find them in my Public-html folder. Any suggestions on what to do? I cant seem to add them from backend joomla either.
Or can I save my customer data in some way, uninstall E-shop, install E-shop, and then add my saved customer data? If yes, how do I do this?

I found the reason: two tables in the database, was not correct: eshop_messages and eshop_messagedetails - I think its on me, I think I did some changes long time ago, dont remember what and why. But buttom of the matter, after deleting these, and importing these two tables, from a clean local installation, with just newest joomla and newest eshop, everything is up and going again.
From another local restoration of an older backup, I could recover my changes to the mail-templates in backend joomla.
When I found out how to do it, it didnt take long to fix, but it took some struggles, to get to the why.
