What exactly Synchronize data tool do?
I have added new language and I need to copy from default language to second one all product descriptions, so I can translate them. Otherwise I must copy/paste and multiple switching between description language tabs.

Hello Matj,

Synchronize data tool with synchronize data between languages. It will copy the data of fields in a language to other languages (if they are missed).
