SOLVED Internal-Only Field?

Is it possible to have a field on each product that is for the back end only?  
I wanted to add a couple of references for each product, that is for our use only - and possibly be able to sort by it?

I can add the two fields I want to the database, I just wanted to know for sure which file to add them to for them to show on the admin product page, for viewing internally.  Or, aternately, make one of the existing custom procut fields not show on the front end.

Figured this out just fine. Added the two fields in the database via phpmyadmin, then added them to the
admin/product/view/default.php and the
admin/products/view/default.php

Worked great!
