Hi folks,
This question only applies to the Guest Checkout screen.
How can I remove some of the mandatory fields on the Guest Checkout?
All I need on this page for Guests, is Name(First & Last), email and phone number.
I HAVE removed the other fields I don't need EXCEPT FOR the 'address 1' field.
Can I either remove this field completely OR alternatively, make it NOT mandatory?

Thanks for your help, and for a great component!  Love your work!
Mike

Dear Mike,

Thank you for submititng the ticket here. Currently, there is no option to manage fields only for Guest Checkout. All fields can be managed under EShop -> Sales -> Fields for both of Guest Checkout and Logged in Customer Checkout.

Sincerely, Giang

Thanks Giang for your reply.
In the EShop -> Sales -> Fields, the Address 1 field is marked as "Required" and also "Published"

Is it the case that I CANNOT remove the "Required" and also "Published" checkmarks?

Since this is a Coffee Shop which takes online orders for pickup, there is no need for the address, and it would be confusing to clients... also, when entering an order, they may NOT like to enter their address for a pickup order, and thus, the business would be lost.

If I cannot remove/unpublish these fields, then I can live with it, but it would be nice if I can remove these fields.
Regards,
Mike

Dear Mike,

Yes, I see that. By default, the Address field can not be unpublished / unrequired. However, I think I will change the system to make it more flexible.

Please submit a new ticket to EShop category to send me the your site information there so I can help you.

Sincerely, Giang
