Ordering Production Options was created by Nicholas Flint
Hello,
I need to specify the order in which options appear on the product page. It appeared to sort alphabetically; so I started numbering them (e.g. 1., 2., 3., etc.). This appeared to work until I had '5. Battery Side Connector' and '6. Battery Side Angle.' On the product page 6. Battery Side Angle is being shown before 5. Battery Side Connector.

How do I fix this and is there a better way to control the order of the options on the product page?

Thank you.

Additionally, it seems like the order field in on an option is being ignored and the option values are being sorted alphabetically regardless of the option value order field.

I found Sorting options under configuration and was able to get this issue resolved. However; I am still unable to get the options to list in the correct order on the products page:  www.mcrcracing.com/shop/charging-leads/2...-balance-charge-lead

I found the ordering field in the database table eshop_options and I manually entered the numerical order I want. Is there not a way to set this value from the component itself rather than directly in the database?

Update: Once I populated the ordering field directly in the database I was able to drag and drop to order; so this is working for me now. Not sure if I was doing something wrong or if it is a bug.

Hello Nicholas,

That's OK. Let's drag and drop to change the ordering of options as you want now.

Sincerely, Giang
